What you send
A meal photo and/or the ingredients you type. Photos are sent to Google Gemini to estimate the breakdown and are never stored by ChefKitty.
What we keep
Each breakdown (meal name, ingredients, calories and macros) is saved under a random link so you can share it. It contains no photo and no account details. Anyone with the link can view it.
Rate limiting
To keep the tool free we count requests per visitor using a salted, one-way hash of your IP address. We never store the IP itself.
No accounts, no ads tracking
There is no signup, and we don't use advertising trackers or sell data.
Not medical advice
Numbers are AI estimates from typical food values and can be off, especially for photos. Don't rely on them for medical or allergy decisions.
